Scope of work will include the following services to assist with the Grid Connections:
– Grid Connection Application: Preparation of G99/G100 distribution and transmission grid connection applications including the single line diagrams (SLDs). We also cover BELLA and BEGA submissions where required.
– Project Design and Layout: After a grid connection offer is accepted, we can produce the initial substation layout and design documents. Our approach is tailored to meet the developer’s requirements, providing clarity on the project’s configuration and footprint, ensuring sufficient land allocation, and supporting planning and consent applications.
– Liaison with the Distribution Network Operator (DNO): Act as a liaison with the relevant DNO to facilitate the application process, address any
queries or additional requirements, and provide technical clarifications as needed.
– Submission and Follow-Up: Submit the completed G99 application to the DNO and provide follow-up support to address any further requirements or modifications requested by the DNO.
– Grid Compliance Advisory: Provide advisory services to ensure that the proposed connection adheres to G99 standards and other relevant UK grid regulations.
– Capacity Mapping: We can help find capacity within UK using in House data and long-term development statement.
– Grid Offer Due Diligence: We have reviewed many transmission and distribution grid connection offers. As such, we can carry out detailed due
diligence on connection offers. In doing so, we highlight the key risks, milestones, timescales, costs and securities associated with any offer to allow the developer to determine if the offer should be accepted or if further engagement is required.
